Recent policy changes by our current Government have created an extremely volatile property market, creating a Christchurch Property Buyers Market.
Our local Canterbury region, though later than most to the (depressing) party, is now following the rest of the country. Longer promotion times, and more properties on the market, have created opportunities for buyers.
Due diligence must trump everything, including the colour of the kitchen cupboards or size of the bedrooms.
It is no joke, when a purchaser contacts Risknet, to assess a property they have bought based on incomplete information, they are usually terrified about the long term financial implications and potential devaluation of their property. they received during their purchase was either incomplete, or worse, potentially misleading.
Our clients, both buyers and sellers, appreciate that Risknet is the only truly independent Floor level Surveyor in Canterbury, who produces high-quality, factual information at a price that is affordable for everyone.
Floor Levels – we make it easier than ever to get correct information
Phase 1:
Floor levels start from $300.00. This allows you, a buyer or an owner who is looking to sell, an independent accurate assessment of your floors. We take 50-80 levels on each and every house. We provide you the high and low points within a professionally recognised report.
Phase 2:
If you are successful at the tender or auction, we then plot these floor levels on a full floor plan, with each elevation and floor adjustments noted, and make this available to you as part of your insurance and legal requirements. The cost of this comprehensive floor plan, starts at $250.00.
Others have tried to copy us. They tend to fail at every level (pun intended). Risknet’s reputation and experience is called upon to review floor levels provided by other firms, and disappointingly, the majority are either incorrect or complete rubbish – ‘spot levels’ that other firms provide have been proven by us to be so unreliable and misleading, that likely thousands of buyers own houses where they have no clue about the actual state of their house floor levels, until it comes time to promote the house for sale. Once issues are discovered by new buyers, most contracts will crash leaving sellers facing large property devaluations.
Mitigate your risks and engage Risknet before you promote for sale, and especially if you are looking to buy. We usually know a lot more than you have been led to believe.
Integrity is the foundation of Risknet Ltd.
That is why our Floor plans are accepted by all insurers (EQC, Private insurance firms), all finance providers, all lawyers and all professional consultants. We provide the same report to all parties, regardless, no omissions and certainly no doctoring of any findings.
